I really enjoyed this one. Speed Champions are some of my favourite smaller builds anyway, but the BMW M3 E30 felt a bit more substantial than usual. With 358 pieces and a noticeably larger box than a typical Speed Champions set, there was plenty to get stuck into.
The finished car looks great. I really like the classic M3 shape, the motorsport-style livery and especially the gold wheels — they suit the car perfectly and give it loads of character.
The driver figure is a nice touch as well, with the pink side-swept hair giving her a slightly punky look that fits the whole style of the set.
Overall, it's just a really enjoyable Speed Champions build with a strong finished look. These sets very rarely disappoint me, and this BMW definitely didn't.
