Origin Story
How It All Started
Bricks & Giggles was never planned.
It started with a trip to B&M with my fiancée. We were buying some things for the house when I spotted a LEGO set, pointed it out to her and said, “That looks cool.”
She picked it up, said, “I'll buy it for you,” and put it straight in the trolley.
I took it home, built it, and that was pretty much it — I'd caught the bug.

It didn't take long before that one set had turned into quite a few. Speed Champions, Technic cars and whatever else caught my eye started appearing. My first brick-related TikTok showed three Technic cars and twelve Speed Champions, so things had obviously escalated pretty quickly.
From there, I just kept building and posting.
Along the way, I started discovering alternative building-block brands and realised there was a whole world of sets outside LEGO that I'd never really looked at before. Some of them genuinely surprised me. Different designs, different ideas and some absolutely brilliant builds.
Before long, I was enjoying discovering and building alternative brands just as much as the LEGO that started all of this.
I've never really been one for buying sets and leaving them sitting around. Once I've got something, I normally want to get stuck in and build it. That's really what the Backlog is — sets waiting for their turn, and hopefully they don't have to wait too long.
Somewhere along the way, what started with one LEGO set being dropped into a B&M trolley became a growing collection, thousands of followers and eventually Bricks & Giggles itself.
But the reason behind all of it hasn't really changed.
I just love building.
One brick at a time. One set at a time.
