This set was sent to me as a free sample by Tokmoc, and out of all the Tokmoc samples I've built so far, this is my favourite.
I absolutely loved putting this one together. The amount of detail inside the shops is incredible — there’s so much packed into the build, and it was genuinely enjoyable from start to finish.
The one thing I think could have been done better is the lighting. Inside the build, the lights and fittings are quite visible rather than being properly hidden or integrated into the structure.
That said, once everything is closed up and you're looking at it from the outside, the lighting completely changes the look of the set. The light coming through the windows gives the shops a brilliant old-fashioned atmosphere, and the illuminated streetlight is a really nice little touch.
It’s one of those builds where there always seems to be another detail to notice, and the finished street looks fantastic on display.
This isn't just my favourite Tokmoc sample so far — it's my favourite Tokmoc build so far.
