After how much I enjoyed the Daytona, I knew I had to try another one of these huge 1:8 supercars — and this Bugatti was probably even better to build.
I loved the blue-on-blue colour scheme, and the whole build was genuinely brilliant from start to finish. Like the Daytona, it’s packed with mechanical detail, including a working engine, gearbox, steering and suspension, so there’s always something interesting going on underneath the bodywork.
The finished model looks fantastic on display and has that proper big-scale presence that made me fall for these 1:8 builds in the first place.
And the price is one of the mad things about it. For a 3,599-piece 1:8 supercar with this much mechanical detail and shelf presence, what BrickVivid charges is genuinely hard to believe. It feels like a huge amount of build for the money.
I honestly didn’t have anything to complain about with this one. Brilliant build, brilliant colours and another one that confirmed these giant supercars are exactly my kind of thing.
Built by me. One of my favourite 1:8 builds so far.
