The Cadillac Project GTP Hypercar probably isn't one of my favourite cars from the Mattel Brick Shop range, but that's mostly because I'm not really a motorsport fan.
That said, it's still a pretty cool-looking car and I enjoyed building it. Everything went together nicely, and I like the way Mattel use more specialised pieces across the Brick Shop range to get much closer to the shapes of the real cars. It helps the finished models feel more like small replicas rather than just blocky versions of them.
My favourite feature, though, is still the matching 1:64 Hot Wheels die-cast car that comes with it.
I absolutely love that. Having the little Hot Wheels car sitting alongside the brick-built version makes these sets feel that bit more special on display and gives you something you don't normally get with a brick-built car.
Not necessarily my favourite car in the range, but a nice build, a cool finished model and another good example of why I've been enjoying the Mattel Brick Shop sets.
