This was my first full-on large Technic-style build, and it completely started something. I enjoyed it so much that one big F1 car quickly turned into a proper collection — I’ve now got five of these large-scale builds.
The build itself was fantastic. It’s big, detailed, mechanical and really satisfying to put together, with that proper large-model feeling where you can see the structure, suspension and engineering coming together as you go.
And for the price, it’s bonkers. This was a huge 1:8-style F1 build that gave me the experience that kicked off the whole collection, yet BrickVivid sells these cars for a fraction of what I’d expect a model this size to cost. The amount of build you get for the money is unbelievable.
I genuinely don’t have any complaints about this one. It was just a really enjoyable build from start to finish, and it’s the set that made me realise how much I enjoy these bigger Technic-style cars.
Built by me. The one that started the large Technic obsession.
