There were a few different building techniques in this one that I hadn't come across on the other F1 cars, which made the build feel fresh and kept it interesting.
It has slightly fewer pieces than some of the others, but you wouldn't know it from the finished model — it's still absolutely massive. It's noticeably lighter too, with a much slimmer, more streamlined feel that I really like.
And once it's finished, I think they've absolutely nailed the overall shape. It captures the look and essence of a real Formula One car brilliantly and makes a seriously impressive display piece.
And then there's the price. This is where BrickVivid continues to surprise me. For the size of these builds and what you actually get for your money, the prices are honestly ridiculous. You're getting a huge 1:8-scale display model without anything close to the price I'd normally expect for something this size.
Definitely my favourite F1 build so far — and at the price BrickVivid sells these for, it's an unbelievable amount of car for your money.
