Built by me — and this one's definitely cute, but it isn't perfect.
Once finished, it's a really nice little display piece. Mine currently lives in my son's bedroom, and it genuinely looks great in there.
There are a couple of things I'd have changed, though. I'm not completely sold on the way the backboard sits on the finished build, and the lighting feels like a bit of a missed opportunity.
Rather than proper light fittings inside illuminating the fish, you get two light blocks on top that you twist to switch on. They do the job, but some properly integrated lighting would have made the whole thing look so much better.
Overall, I enjoyed it. It's cute, it's different and the finished build looks lovely — I just came away thinking it could have been even better.
Would I still display it? Absolutely. Would I redesign those lights? Also absolutely. 😂
