I’d wanted the Ferrari F40 for a while, but every time I looked I couldn’t seem to find one anywhere.
Then one day while I was at work, I popped into The Entertainer and spotted a single one left on the shelf. At that point, I knew I wasn’t leaving without it.
I brought it home and pretty much built it straight away. The finished car looks fantastic and, for a Speed Champions set, it does a brilliant job of capturing the real F40.
My only real complaint is a section in the middle of the front that comes off a little too easily. I think it could have been secured better, although once the car is sitting on display it isn’t really a problem.
Other than that, it’s a great little build. It’s one of those sets that just looks right on display and was definitely worth finally adding to the collection.
