I genuinely can’t remember when or where I picked this one up, but I’m glad it ended up in the collection.
The build was really enjoyable and the finished Bugatti looks excellent on display. The shape and styling came together really well, and it’s one of those Speed Champions cars that looks better once it’s sitting on the shelf than you might expect from the box.
For a while I actually had it displayed alongside my LEGO Bonsai Tree, and the two looked surprisingly cool together. Not an obvious combination, but it worked really well on the shelf.
No dramatic story behind this one. Just a good build, a great-looking finished car and another set I’m happy to have in the collection.
