I’d been trying to find this set for months. I checked B&M, Smyths, The Entertainer — everywhere I could think of — and it was constantly sold out. Even LEGO didn’t have it, and finding one at a sensible price seemed almost impossible.
Then one day I was sitting at home and a Vinted notification popped up. Someone had listed one brand new for just under retail price.
I was ecstatic.
A 38-year-old grown man getting ridiculously excited because he’d finally managed to buy a little pink plastic car. Welcome to collecting.
Thankfully, the build lived up to the hunt. It’s a brilliant-looking recreation of Suki’s S2000 and, being a Fast & Furious fan, it was one I really wanted in the collection.
It was a fantastic little build from start to finish and, honestly, I don't have any complaints about it. Sometimes a build just does exactly what you want it to do, and this was one of those.
Sometimes half the fun of collecting is actually finding the thing — and this one definitely felt like a win.
